The Joys of Ibadah

Salah (prayer) is the one of the foundation of Islam; it’s called the pillar of Islam. The first thing that Allah command to the Prophet p.b.u.h. is the salah. And it was the first things of the shareah that mentioned as the

 There are five times in a day that might be so often for some people of praying and the person that doesn’t know about it. Five times of praying were a commonly a high number if we are thinking about demand that we should perform without a good matter at all. But when we just think about the beautiful thing, of course we shouldn’t consider the number as the influence thing.

There was some perception that mentions ibadah as a burden thing. Ibadah actually about anything must be done but it’s not only about the burden any way. Ibadah is the joys that anyone can get on. Salah, for example, with the frequency in a day that should be performed – and there are another salahs – it seem as the hard thing to do. This is a matter that Allah SWT mentioned on the Quran:

... وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ ؛ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

“… it is difficult except for the humbly submissive (to Allah); who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.” (2: 45-46)

The submission to Allah is the principle matter that certain what should the person gets on ibadah. Anything that people seek is determined by the reason on him and his live. There is some people that should think that the religion is to get the pleasure as fun as they think as like as the hedonism way. In this case, is the other principle matter that someone has to do rightly is about the pleasures they’re seeking. It could come from the wrong side on himself called nafs, which pushes him to the sins and bad things. The verse explained more extent that the humbly submission is anyone that certain the real purpose on his life rightly.

To know that the salahs are not the burden, sometime didn’t make it are easy to do. Some moslem, any way, has some trouble with it beside that’s they are absolutely know how gainful the salah is. Let we see that the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) explain about the joys on ibadah more extent. He (pbuh) said:

"ثلاث من كن فيه وجد حلاوة الإيمان: أن يكون الله ورسوله أحب إليه مما سواهما، وأن يحب المرء لا يحبه إلا لله، وأن يكره أن يعود في الكفر كما يكره أن يقذف في النار" (رواه البخاري)

“Three things, whoever has it should found the joy of believing (eeman); to love Allah and His prophet more than anything else, to love some someone just love it for Allah, and averse to turn back to the kufr (wrong way) more than to averse to be thrown to the hell.”
