Wearing and Showing Up

To wear is about to show the personality beyond the others. We should think about our self. Know we know a way that’s most popular at social media called selfish style. It’s commonly on imaging our self by photograph or others media. The way to show is what we are shown. To wear is about it for some person.

Wearing clothes has many perceptions meaning. For some it’s just to do like it to be and the other is about something more than it. But any way, the wearing is not about the most important things but it’s important how to do with it.

The jilbab is one of the characters to mention the identity of Muslim females. The substantive matter is about covering the body that’s viewed to the other. There were some caution that’s mentioned as the principle matter in wearing it, it’s like the parts can be showed and some style that’s forbidden.

The forbidden ways are about the indication that’s come with called ‘fitnah’. It’s meaning bad thing that Ibn Katheer said about it as: something that’s makes people got away from the religion. Fitnah is about the matters that purpose someone to do the bad things. Some of it is the sexuality interest. The woman, as generally as to be, has more sexual impressions that are showed on her body. It’s why the Islam made some rule about clothing for the women. It’s also meaning that the rule is however it’s not about to expose the sexuality is allowed matters.

It mentioned by the Qoran:

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا [الأحزاب: ٥٩]

“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33: 59)

The more suitable that they will be known is about matter to be showed and it’s about the syi’ar (identity). As we know as the joyful of live, iman (religion) is the biggest things that’s Allah awarded us beside many other joys. Is this the most reasonable to show it isn’t?

In other way, the Prophet p.b.u.h mentions about wearing jilbab that’s unrecognized, it’s also about the matter to be showed, he said:

صِنْفَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ لَمْ أَرَهُمَا قَوْمٌ مَعَهُمْ سِيَاطٌ كَأَذْنَابِ الْبَقَرِ يَضْرِبُونَ بِهَا النَّاسَ وَنِسَاءٌ كَاسِيَاتٌ عَارِيَاتٌ ... [رواه أحمد ومسلم في الصحيح]

“There are two characters that were the hell inmates; the people have the whip like for the cow whips, and the other is the women was wearing clothes but she precisely nudes.”

It’s about the woman that’s wearing the clothes (jilbab and so on) but it’s still showing her sexuality.
